Welcome to the Thurlow Nunn Group, established since 1875. We are a sixth-generation family owned and managed business operating from 17 locations across East Anglia specialising in agricultural engineering, vehicle retail and construction project management.

With a dedicated team of c 600 employees, the Thurlow Nunn Group achieves an annual turnover exceeding £280 million.

As we continue to grow and evolve, we remain deeply committed to the family values established by previous generations. The Thurlow family is proud to actively lead and manage the business, now in its sixth generation of family ownership. Our foundation is built on these values, which have been key to our long-standing success, and we take immense pride in the remarkable loyalty and tenure of many of our team members.

Our Journey So Far

1875

George Thurlow set up business in Stowmarket as an oil merchant and engineer. The company moved into the supply of steam engines and threshing tackle to become one of the country's leading distributors.

1911

George Thurlow & Sons Ltd acquired the Massey-Harris franchise in following the purchase of Woods & Co in Stowmarket and today we are recognised as the longest operating distributor of this brand (now Massey-Ferguson) in the world.
